Bickerton is a small village nestled at the foot of the Bickerton and Peckforton Hills in Cheshire.
Located on Long Lane, just off the A534 between Broxton and Bulkeley, the Village Hall is an integral part of the local community and plays host to many local activities and groups.
Recently renovated and superbly equipped the Village Hall makes an ideal venue for clubs and associations and private parties and has a range of rooms and facilities available to hire.
With a large car park the hall is a regular weekend destination for caravan clubs and touring associations.

NOTICE BOARD
On the main menu click on 'Activity Groups' and then on 'Music' for upcoming concerts, on 'Film Night' for the Film Society (all films are open to everyone) and on 'Theatre' for visiting theatre productions or click on any individual activity group to find more information.
Music / Theatre:
We present a musical 'Some Like It Hotter' on Thursday 8th March. This features live Jazz in a theatrical re-working of the Hollywood classic starring Tony Curtis, Jack Lemmon and Marylin Munroe. The show will be performed by the Oxfordshire Theatre Company and promises to fulfil the adage that great movie stars never die, they just sparkle on forever. The number of tickets available is restricted to 60 because of the set layout in the hall for this production. For your tickets please contact Carol on 01829 782392.
Film
The next film is on Friday February 17th. Doors open at 7pm film starts at 7.30pm.
'YOU WILL MEET A TALL DARK STRANGER' CERT 12A. Starring Anthony Hopkins, Gemma Jones, Naomi Watts, Josh Brolin and Pauline Collins. A Woody Allen comedy-drama set in London.

Jubilee Weekend in June
There will be a Diamond Jubilee Celebration at the village hall on Saturday June 2nd. This is being held in conjuncton with the three parish councils that are part of the village hall's area. There will be a marquee and the event will feature a hog roast, music for dancing and a bar.
The marquee will be in place from Friday 1st June until Tuesday 5th June and it is anticipated that other functions will take place on days besides the Saturday event. A Jubilee committee has been formed and is working on the details. We will publish more information as we get closer to the date.
